This is an advance role within the IT Procurement team and is responsible for the ordering, imaging, shipping and inventory management for all SMI IT hardware. This role works hand in hand with the Service Desk and is an escalation point for Hardware and other Service Desk related requests.
Job Duties:
Purchases goods and services that meet the quantity and quality expectations of the organization.
Prepares and processes requisitions for IT related supplies and equipment.
Tracks inventory and restocks hardware to par levels as needed
Prepares and issues purchase orders.
Works with PMO to coordinate hardware and network site fulfillment.
Provides mentorship to fellow IT team members where applicable.
Identifies, researches, and resolves technical problems.

Education and Experience:
2 years SimonMed Tier II experience OR Computer Science Associates degree plus 4 years relevant experience OR 5 years relevant experience
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Has advanced knowledge of Active Directory, Windows 10 or 11, Networking, Exchange, Windows Imaging and Hardware deployment.
Exhibits advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
