Airport Veterinary Clinic is seeking an experienced Hospital Manager to join our leadership team! This is a dynamic, hands-on role where you'll work closely with our Medical Director to oversee day-to-day operations, guide a dedicated team, and ensure the highest standards of veterinary care and client service.
About the Role:
As our Hospital Manager, you'll play a key role in shaping a supportive and efficient hospital culture. You'll be responsible for managing business operations, mentoring team members, and ensuring smooth hospital workflow-all while fostering a positive environment for staff and clients alike.

Responsibilities include:

• Overseeing daily operations and hospital flow
• Partnering with the Medical Director to support clinical and business goals
• Managing payroll, budgets, and inventory
• Leading recruitment, onboarding, and development of team members
• Scheduling and staff coordination
• Handling client communication and conflict resolution
• Ensuring compliance with safety and operational protocols

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5+ years of leadership experience
• Minimum 3+ years of veterinary industry experience
• Strong financial acumen (budgets, payroll, revenue growth)
• Proven experience in team development and coaching
• High emotional intelligence and conflict resolution skills
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; AviMark experience preferred
• Self-motivated and able to work independently and collaboratively
• Flexibility to work a Monday-Friday schedule with occasional Saturdays

• Competitive salary: $60,000-$70,000/year (based on experience)
• Bonus: $2,000 for Certified Veterinary Technicians (CVTs) or Certified Veterinary Practice Managers (CVPMs)
