Service Technician

Our client is seeking a Service Technician to join their growing team. The selected individual will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of water softening systems in residential and commercial settings. Responsibilities

• Install new residential and commercial water softener and reverse osmosis systems, including connecting them to the water supply and plumbing.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as replacing filters, resin, and other components in residential and commercial systems.
• Service residential and commercial accounts for salt delivery.
• Diagnose and repair water softener systems, including identifying and addressing issues such as leaks, low water pressure, or hard water.
• Provide stellar customer service, explaining the operation of the system, and answering customer questions.
• Perform relevant tests to assess system performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Maintain records of service calls, repairs, and maintenance activities.
• Monitor inventory in work vehicle ensuring all necessary equipment and materials are in vehicle.
• Follow all safety guidelines and procedures.

Requirements

• Minimum of one-year previous experience within the industry of servicing and installing water softeners and reverse osmosis systems.
• Strong understanding of water softener systems, plumbing, and related equipment.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and explain technical information in a clear and concise manner.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment, such as salt bags and water softener components.
• Understanding of mechanical principles and ability to work with tools.
• Ability to maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs, and maintenance activities.
