Child Care Associate

Position Summary:

We are seeking a responsible, energetic, and caring Child Care Associate to join our team. This position involves supervising and engaging with children in a safe, fun, and structured environment. Ideal candidates will have a genuine passion for working with kids and a strong sense of responsibility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and ensure the safety of children at all times

• Assist in implementing age-appropriate activities

• Interact positively with children, parents, and team members

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of play and activity areas

• Help with snack distribution, restroom breaks, and minor cleanup

• Monitor children for signs of illness or injury and report concerns to supervisors

• Follow all health, safety, and facility guidelines

 

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 16 years old

• Ability to pass a criminal background check (required)

• Friendly, patient, and dependable

• Ability to work well with children of various ages

• Good communication and teamwork skills

Preferred Qualifications (Not Required):

• Previous experience in child care, babysitting, or volunteer work with children

• CPR and First Aid certification

Schedule:

• Flexible hours; including mornings and afternoon into evening depending on program needs

• Monday-Friday, 6:30am-9:00am, Monday, 1:30pm-6:00pm and Tuesday-Friday 3:15pm-6:00pm
